The Kravín was originally established as a traveling inn for market people who waited for the city gates to open in the morning and thus became the first in Prague. The first references to Kravín, dating back to the 17th century, tell of its creation on the site of a ruined vineyard. In the previous century, the Vinohrady people used to come here for milk, as cows were kept here - hence the name Kravín. This is also the place where Pilsner beer was first brewed in Prague.
After the new houses were built, Kravín was located on the corner of Korunní and Budečská Street.
Since 2013, we continue this history, connected with Vinohrady at the corner of Náměstí Míru and Rumunská Street.
